The period between 1920-1930 has the greatest role of empowering the Zionists politically, economically, militarily, socially and demographically. We are in need to show some of the benefits of the Jewish movement, especially in this period, because it is the period of the five Palestinian revolutions and in order to learn lessons of the quickly-improved Zionist project. In order not to repeat the same mistakes, we must be totally aware of the conspiracies’ of both the enemies and the allies due to our inattention. Meanwhile we were so busy with ourselves, the Zionists seize the chance to empower their project with the British mandate help.
- The Zionist project’s progress has been made in many aspects:
First, the political aspect. Increasing the Zionist political and administrative influence in Palestine by raising the number of the Jewish employees in the administrative institutions and establishing many Zionist institutions like the Jewish agency.
Second, the militant aspect. Creating Jewish militant units and gangs like the Haganah, which later became the core of the Israel Defense Forces, and smuggling weapons and training these gangs.
Third, the artificial and agricultural aspects: Britain helped the Zionists to reach the fertile lands and gave them permits to build factories which contributed in helping them controlling the economy.
Fourth, the demographic aspect: the Jewish movement ease the Jewish immigration to Palestine which caused the increase of the Jewish existence in Palestine from 8.3% in 1991 to 31.5% in May 15, 1948.
